What creative activity do you engage in when you’re not writing?
I have a lot of creative activities that I like to do, but one that I want to do more of is play with my Cricut. I have made stickers and hope to get them listed in my shop soon, and they’ll also be extra swag for my Muse Happens members. I’ve also cut out greeting cards to send to friends and family and cut vinyl to make graphics for the car and a sign for my mailbox that says I’m selling eggs again.
It’s been a while, but I also play the clarinet and would like to get back to it. I worked on zentangles for a while, and would love to get back to doing art again, too. Being in college has really zapped my time for a lot of other creative pursuits, but it’s something that I want to work into my schedule.
I’d love to hear what creative things you do, and I’ll work on posting those stickers soon.
Yes- school can really overtake the time to pursue creative outlets, can’t it? I love that you actually make the cards you send people- I find the homemade one’s mean so much more than off the shelf cards. I play a little bit of piano and flute (just enough to make me happy and have the dog come curl up). But mostly, I make my own soap. It’s fun and then practical, since I get to use the soap. I think you will n ever find time to put something into your schedule, unless you make it a ‘must do’- even once or twice a week. Otherwise, I find months go by before I realize. Good luck with it all!
