When you don't know what your magic is and you need a retreat from the world there are Orders who take you in and help you restore yourself. But they are the Orders of Joy, and sometimes, you shouldn't hide your joy in a cloister, but instead go out into the world and find it.

With Kennedy unable to work at the stable due to her conservative family, Joy and Devon try and juggle duties while looking to the future. But when a thoroughbred rescue approaches Joy about a horse who needs rehabilitated, Devon accepts the extra duties. I absolutely loved writing this short story, and I'm hoping to return to Fletcher and the Magical Weather Society, as well as his mysterious portal soon.
