Gorg is a halfgob, half-goblin and half-halfing, who lives in Cornertown and gets by running errands for those who stay at the inn. However, finding a cat and her kittens in a pile of hay changed Gorg’s life for the better. No longer did he rely on the generosity of his friend, Ebin, a half-orc who cooked at the local inn, but now he was working for Naven, an animal healer. That means he’s often in the right place at the right time, like when he was at the inn visiting Ebin and Lady Thunderling’s prize dog needs Naven’s help when she goes into labor.
Cornertown is abuzz with the changes Lady Thunderling is bringing. But that’s not all that’s going to change because Naven makes Gorg a proposition, one that could set him on a path he never thought possible.
Fans of veterinarian shows (who always want a happy ending) and cozy fantasy will enjoy the Apprentice Gorg series set in the Cozy Vales.
