Magic Down The Center Line

Lizzi has mostly moved on from the incident with the bank, and her fellow students seem to have forgotten. It helps that she’s now eating lunch and riding with Lirael Runebitten, the daughter of a powerful Elf family who can make things happen. But Lizzi is struggling to keep up with her other friends, and when the school starts a rodeo club, she’s thinking about adding something else to her already busy schedule. Lizzi realizes she’s going to have to choose, and a rough dressage test brings that choice ever closer. She’d hoped to have the holiday break to think about things, but her decision to bring Corbie home creates its own bunch of problems. And now Xenia has been acting strangely, almost as if she likes Lizzi. With each passing day Lizzi is getting more and more unsure of just what her place at Divine Rein is supposed to be and who the best source of advice might be.
